Unique value proposition (UVP)
AKOFS Offshore is a provider of vessel-based subsea well construction and intervention services to the oil and gas industry. AKOFS currently offers highly efficient subsea intervention from two specialised Subsea Equipment Support Vessels (SESV). The services include installation, retrieval, testing and maintenance of subsea and top section downhole equipment to water depths of up to 2,500 meters. By using a fibre-rope based deployment system, deck skidding, dual test-stations and a subsea orientation equipment system, the Skandi Santos and the Aker Wayfarer offers significant efficiency gains to deepwater operations. The neutrally buoyant fibre rope provides no reduction in installation weight capability with increasing water depth. Aker Wayfarer has installed 270 MT manifold on 2300m.
