The principles of Sevan’s proven proprietary floater design are incorporated, providing a stable floater with minimum fatigue on hull and cable connections. The Sevan Floating Substation concept can be customized to meet client’s capacity requirements for offshore power conversion and distribution (HVAC and HVDC). The substation is designed for unmanned operation and in general all equipment will be located inside the hull, well protected from the weather.
