Framo has together with NGI (Norwegian Geotechnical Institute), been operating a range of pumping and monitoring equipment dedicated for offshore suction anchor installation for more than 25 years. The Framo Suction Anchor Pumping System (SAPS) is a high capacity integrated system, based on well proven and reliable pumps that can deliver over 1000m3/h of flow and up to 8 bar in reversed cycling operations. Framo’s suction bucket technology also features a smart trunk design that ensures air and water quickly and efficiently evacuate through the buckets as they are lowered to the seabed. This smart interface solution enables ROV-free operation and ensures a quicker turnaround for each foundation installation.
