Siemens Energy’s Battery Energy Storage Solution (BESS) provides fast-response power support for offshore, marine, data center, industrial and grid-connected energy systems. BESS can be used for backup power, spinning reserve replacement, peak support, renewable firming, grid stabilization and hybrid power systems. The solution helps stabilize systems with variable generation or variable consumption, including offshore wind, data centers, electrified offshore platforms, FPSOs, hydrogen-related systems and other power-intensive consumers. By improving power availability, optimizing generator loading and supporting more efficient operation, BESS can reduce fuel consumption, lower operating costs and support lower-emission energy systems.
