Emerson is currently working on a new Roxar subsea multiphase flow meter concept, with an aim to merge known and field proven technology in a new and innovative hybrid platform. The new meter aim to address reoccurring pain points like reliability, robustness, in-situ validation, and self-verification capabilities, providing highly repeatable measurements. The result will represent a step change in measurement confidence for asset life, especially targeting the needs of subsea tiebacks and complex fields covering the full range of GVF and WLR. This project will couple sensors and software in an innovative technology platform for the future. Furthermore, a flexible design, encompassing a modularity approach, provides versatility, extended operating range and ease-of-use.
