AXTech Windworker

The AXTech Windworker is a tool designed to handle heavy component replacements on wind turbines, developed in collaboration with Equinor. From concept to prototype, the Windworker has been engineered to meet the challenges of offshore wind maintenance at heights of up to 150 metres above sea level. This system enables the efficient replacement of blades, rotors, and critical turbine components, ensuring minimal downtime and maximising operational efficiency. It is adaptable to different vessel sizes, with smaller configurations optimised for blade replacements and larger versions capable of handling full rotor and component exchanges
