Poland offshore wind targets have reached ~11 GW. According to PWEA and Wind Europe, the total capacity for OW development in Poland’s EEZ is ~ 28 GW. Within the framework of Phase I, - 5 project owners have been awarded CfDs in 2021, in total 5.9 GW has been awarded in 2021.

The first electricity from this offshore wind plants are expected in 2026. As for Phase II of the OW development process, waiting for assessment, are over 100 applications for localizations prepared by international OW developers. All the Polish state-owned energy groups: Tauron, Enea, PGE and PKN Orlen as well as private corporations as ZE PAK and Synthos, are acting independently, jointly and/or in partnerships with international players. From 2025 onwards, auction platform will be used. Next auctions will be held in 2025 and then 2027. Granted support for offshore farms of total capacity of 5 GW.

Delegation programme

NORWEP is planning a extensive meeting activity with key stakeholders including exploring partnering opportunities with the Polish supply chain, yet with time set aside to participate at the PTMEW Conference 2022. There will be one to many meeting with the OW operators, B2B meetings as well as onsite networking opportunities.
