The PWEA (Polish Wind Energy Association) Annual Conference is the largest platform in Poland for establishing and tightening cooperation between stakeholders of the wind energy market. PWEA delivers breaking updates on the industry, from technology, through the supply chain to the industry, to policy.
Please note that entrance to the conference is not included and must be booked separately. NORWEP supply a discount code (TBA) for delegates to receive the same discount as PSEW members. Link to conference registration: PWEA2025 Conference

SAS Radisson and Hilton are unfortunately fully booked, but a very good alternative is to rent an apartment. The apartments are placed just beside Hilton and SAS Radisson hotels in Swionujscie and they are administered by Zdrojowa Hotels/Hilton, as they are located in the same lodging complex. You can also make an apartment booking here.
The easiest way to get to Swinoujscie is flying by LOT to Szczecin from Warsaw. PWEA (Polish abbreviation PSEW) has arranged transport by minibus to Swinoujscie according to the following schedule:

The energy transition in Poland is gaining momentum. Development of green energy is a necessity from the point of view of energy independence and national interests of the country, especially in the present geopolitical situation in Europe. During the last two years, the share of coal in Poland’s energy mix dropped from 66 to 55%, thanks to large development of RES, especially PV and onshore wind. Development of offshore wind on the Baltic Sea will soon speed up the process of decarbonisation of the Polish energy sector even more.
The Polish offshore wind programme worth approx. 10 billion EUR, is the largest investment in postwar Poland. Reaching the firstly set target of 10,9 GW in OW was planned in two phases: Phase I, for which CfDs for 5,9 GW were awarded in 2021 to 5 project owners: Equinor/Polenergia, PGE/Ørsted, Baltic Power (ORLEN/Northland Power), RWE and Ocean Winds; and Phase II, with auctions for totally 5 GW planned for 2025 and 2027. In 2023, an amendment to the Act on RES changed this scheme to 4 auctions offering a total support for 12 GW, for the auctions in 2025 and 2027 - 4 GW each, and for additional two auctions in 2029 and 2031 - 2 GW each. In 2023, 10 permits for new seabed areas for OW farms were granted to two Polish energy groups, PGE (additional 3,9 GW of capacity) and ORLEN (5.2 GW).
As for Phase 1, two project owners, Baltic Power and the PGE/Ørsted j.v., have already taken their FIDs, and such a decision is soon expected to be taken by the Equinor/Polenergia j.v. In February 2025, first monopiles were installed for the first offshore wind farm in Poland, the 1140 MW Baltic Power.
