Unique value proposition (UVP)
Aibel provides complete EPC solutions within HVDC converter platforms, AC Substations and floating wind. Aibel has in recent years established strong references in the offshore wind market. Larger delivered projects consists of EPCIC execution of the DolWin Beta platform (HVDC), and EPMA execution for Hywind Scotland (floating). In addition, a number of studies and FEEDs for clients globally. In 2019, Aibel was awarded multiple contracts for offshore wind HVDC projects that are now in execution:
- DolWin 5 (TenneT): EPCIC delivery of the HVDC platform and onshore station in consortium with Keppel FELS, with ABB as a subcontractor.
- Creyke Beck A/B (Dogger Bank): EPC delivery of the two offshore HVDC platforms (ABB HVDC technology), with an option for the Teesside A project.
