TIME toe valve - chemically actuated isolation valve

Utilizing the FADE technology Marwell have developed the TIME toe valve. The valves are installed at the end of the lower completion to control the toe zone and can be run in hole in either open or closed position. The valves can be actuated by: - Pressure activated version: with hydrostatic initiator with a pre-set actuation delay between 10 hours and 3 days. - Fluid activated version is actuated when exposed to brine or acid. When exposed to oil base mud there is no activation. The added values for customers when using TIME toe valves are: -Enables wash-pipe free running of lower completion together with dissolvable plugs - Simple and cost effective way to control toe zone - No need for intervention, electronics or to send pressure signals
