Offshore wind runs on weather windows. Vessel scheduling, jack-up operations, crew transfer, blade lifts and long-term O&M planning all depend on knowing what the conditions are now and what they are about to do. WISE Group builds the met-ocean and environmental monitoring systems that supply that picture — wind, wave, current, visibility, temperature and sea state — on offshore substations, met masts, foundations and marine spreads.
What separates an integrated system from a collection of sensors is the software. Rather than delivering five vendors' packages and calling it a system, WISE Group integrates every sensor into DADAS, its own Data Acquisition and Display Software, and builds the displays, alarm thresholds and third-party interfaces each operator actually needs — SCADA, forecast providers, digital twin and asset management platforms.
Systems are specified for continuous unattended operation in the most energetic parts of the ocean, and supported for the life of the asset by the team that built them.
