AURAHIB

AURAHIB is a liquid polyamine-based shale stabilizer used generally in polymer based non-dispersed mud systems. AURAHIB provides a superior level of inhibition required to suppress the swelling of reactive clay/shale in the wellbore as well as in the drilling fluids system. The unique structure of AURAHIB has a special affinity towards clay/shale platelets which prevents swelling by restricting water molecules from entering. This further strengthens the wellbore, eliminating wellbore-stability related issues. AURAHIB also adsorbs onto the shale cuttings and reduces their reactivity which helps to minimize bit and BHA balling and preventing the accretion or dispersion of solids in the mud system.
