Unique value proposition (UVP)
AURACAP® is an ultra-low molecular weight hydrophobically modified acrylamide base copolymer, distinctively modified to create hydrophobicity and adherence on clay surfaces in such a way that it provides wellbore stabilization, cuttings encapsulation and lubricity in both fresh water and saturated salt water-based drilling fluids without significantly increasing fluid viscosity. AURACAP® has a unique anionic polymeric structure which enables it to encapsulate the drilled cuttings of clay and shale without forming any fish eyes. It leaves a protective film on the exposed shale and clay formations to prevent shale hydration, cleavage, sloughing, and cuttings dispersion.
