SPO Compact Flange

SPO Compact Flange is a bolted static pipe connection with a leakage probability in the same range as welded connections. The flanges are especially well suited in demanding applications such as for extreme low temperature and in dynamic loading situations, and when high external forces and bending moments exists. SPO Compact Flanges is the basis for ISO 27509, but extends beyond this standard up to 20 000 psi pressure class. Extensive references in subsea applications, risers and in topside applications for more than 20 years. All factors below contribute to increased operational life of the topside installation: 1.
