Unique value proposition (UVP)
Multiconsult has established metocean design basis for over 150 locations along the coast of Norway. We have developed new and sophisticated methods for realistic representations of the environment to establish reliable metocean design basis in arctic environments. The Arctic represents large remote areas in a complex environment. The physical climate data in arctic areas suitable for design is limited. However, we have identified an increasing number of parameters and phenomena in correlation. Applying this knowledge is vital when establishing correct design basis for e.g. ice drift, spray icing, cold precipitation and snow drift. Combining this with the engineering process we get dependable assessments of the safety and reliability of the design as an integrated system.
