Multiconsult specializes in the engineering of high voltage equipment and utilities systems. Our electromechanical engineers serve both equipment suppliers and end clients. Deliverables include interface for main components, overall layout of HVDC stations and substations in general from 22 kV to 420 kV. During operation in cold climate environment, components may experience arctic temperatures below - 40 °C. The solution for operating in such environment is winterization. With our cold climate experience we provide reliable, safe and cost-effective winterization design solutions, such as equipment protection (heat tracing, precipitation shielding etc.), working environment and personnel protection from wind and snow in compliance with relevant rules and regulations.
